The way the CMS Managed works changes from June 1st. Wizdeo helps you see what's changing more clearly.

So far, the CMS Managed was reserved for the channels having the rights of diffusion and monetization on all their contents. These rights could come from the fact that the Creators produce all their content themselves, or that they have obtained this authorization from the rights holders of the contents that they reuse in their videos. The mechanism of Content ID YouTube, taking into account the content reserved for this CMS, did not check these channels first.

As of June 1, the YouTube mechanism will also check all Managed CMS channels. It will at first check the new videos released, then progressively go on to catalog videos published before June 1st. Specifically, if one of your videos receives a third-party claim, you lose the monetization of this video to the benefit of the right-holder, or your video can be blocked. The fact that the robot passes on the video increases the risk of third-party claims on your videos.

For example, you can use the Audioswap tool to replace an audio part with another music, or simply remove the music with the tool to erase the audio track. We can also help you correct an error on a video part thanks to the blur tool. All of these tools are available in the Video Manager, after clicking the Edit button of the video in question.

Note that for video catalogs, it will probably not be a significant loss of revenue because these videos are usually only a small part of the views generated by the channel. However, in the event that the claim is not legitimate, Wizdeo also accompanies you in your protest, in particular by going back to you the significant manual claims at regular rate when there is some.
